The title song of Jims third album. We were at the end of 2 Spring Harvest weeks, The kids were tired, the team was tired & we had one last song to finish. In the middle of the song i noticed a small group of boys marching up & down, punching in the air & shouting, this had never happened in the middle of "Father God i wonder" before, & i was just about to ask hem to shush, as we were trying to have a nice pink & fluffy feeling Good end of Spring Harvest worship time. Then I caught their words & i froze>
God is raising up and army, God is raising up an army. The chat grew from the small group of boys to over 200 kids, about half of the group. Shouting, God can use us, we are God;s children, God is raising up an army.
Well this was not planned or on my order of service but it was clear God's presence was with us in a very real & tangable way.
The song is my theme song. It encapsulates Gods heart & opinion of Kids ad I been the slow grown up that I am nearly missed through rationaity & tiredness one of the most fantastic worship moments I have ever been in. For a further 45 minutes the kids spontaniously marched and sang and chanted. Parents wer coming in & crying as we all wittnessed the purity of priase as expressed by Gods favourites and most importants in the Kingdom of God
